We are now recruiting Conference-wide mission teams and District Mission Teams to Tanzania for 2021 and beyond. Mission teams will build relationships with the people of the Tanzania UMC and offer workshops and other training for the church leaders there. The list of the areas for which they are requesting training and development are listed below.
If you are interested in teaching or leading any of these areas and would like to be considered to join a team in 2021 or later, please contact your area champion.
Local church and district mission teams are also encouraged to build relationships with the churches and congregations in Tanzania. These relationships should be considered long-term and therefore the first trip will be a learning or exploratory trip that helps you connect with local churches and better understand what the context and ministries currently at work are.
