Baypines District and Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament

Baypines District United Methodist Churches and Habitat for Humanity host a Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at GlenLakes Golf Club, Foley, AL. The tournament will begin with registration at 7:00 a.m. then on to an 8:00 a.m. tee time. Shot Gun Start / 4 Person Scramble Format with surprises. Cost is $50.00 per player which includes (18 holes of golf, range balls, cart fee, a meal and door prizes afterwards).

...ERT (Early Response Team) Training - First UMC, Ft. Walton Beach

An Early Response Team (ERT) training will take place on Saturday, May 19, 8:00am-4:30pm at First United Methodist Church, Fort Walton Beach, FL. Those completing the training are awarded an ERT badge, which is required for entry to natural disaster zones immediately following disasters. The training includes methods, safety, and protocol for responding to disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, and flooding.
