Church Construction, Philippines

Bishop Rodolfo A. Juan of the Philippines Central Conference has requested a construction team to rebuild the sanctuary of the 77-year old UMC congregation of Pagangpang. He is envisioning a larger church building with a balcony to safely and comfortably accommodate the growing number of worshipers. Epworth Project

Epworth Project is a non-profit disaster rebuilding agency located in Slidell, LA. They take volunteers year-around. The Greater New Orleans area is still recovering from Hurricane Katrina and now Hurricane Isaac. Epworth Project began as a part of UMCOR. Montgomery Area Gleaning Network

The Montgomery Area Gleaning Network has an ongoing need for volunteers to pick up produce from various farmers' markets in the Montgomery Area and deliver to local ministries. Volunteers pick up produce that would otherwise be thrown away and deliver it to feeding ministries within the community. It is helpful if volunteers can commit to a weekly or bi-weekly time to volunteer, but not necessary.
