What kind of prayer ministry does your church have? The United Methodist Men (UMM) of the Alabama-West Florida Conference (AWFC) are leading the way nationally in support of the Upper Room Prayer Line. The AWFC has given over $4,000 to the prayer line. Now the UMM of the conference are encouraging churches to volunteer to answer the prayer line. Churches may become partners with the Upper Room by contacting the prayer line through prayer-center.upperroom.org/
Church groups may answer the phone for two-hour periods by simply providing a date, time, and phone number to which the Upper Room can forward calls. There is no charge. The Upper Room will provide a training manual to orient volunteers.
