Rev. R C Warren, 87, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in his home. 

He was born on May 11, 1927 in Bastrop, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of West Alabama. He graduated from Candler School of Theology, Emory University with a Master's Degree of Divinity. He was a minister in Alabama and the West Florida Conference for 42 years, retiring in 1996. He was a Covenant Hospice Chaplain for 5 years and attended the First United Methodist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Molly Warren; and three brothers, James, Doug and Lloyd. 

He is survived by his wife, Ingrid Torgersen Warren; four sons, Robert C. Warren (Pat), David W. Warren (Dian), Steven D. Warren (Lisa), Joel K. Warren (Renee'); eleven grandchildren, Craig Warren (Megan), Joshua Warren (Amanda), Brett Warren (Barrett), Aaron Warren (Natalie), Hannah Taylor (Ben), Rebekah Williams (Rich), Ashley Kimbril (Joe), Blake Jackson, Matthew Warren, Sarah Elizabeth Warren, Jacob Warren; ten great grandchildren; brother, Ray Warren; sister, Lou Koesy (Calvin), brother-in-law, Thomas Torgersen (Glenn); three sisters-in-law, Jennie Warren, Bobbie Warren, Mary Catherine Warren; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on October 4, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Panama City. Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. 

Active pallbearers will be his grandsons. Fellow pastors are requested to be honorary pallbearers.
