Rev. Raymond Earl Owens, 80, a native of Honoraville, AL, passed away September 10, 2015. Rev. Owens was serving the Shady Grove/Grand Ridge Charge in the Marianna/Panama City District.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Martha; two daughters, Laura Carpenter and Carla Horne; three sons Mark and Allen Owens and Charles Dennison; a brother Randy; two sisters Doris Patterson and Daisy Phelps; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2015 beginning at 2 pm CDT at Shady Grove UMC. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm. Rev. Dr. Larry Bryars, Rev. Bill Pevy, and Craig Fletcher officiating. Music provided by Abbie Duce and Kathy Jarmen. Committal and interment will follow at Pope Cemetery in Sneads, FL.
