Accessibility Audit

The Annual Accessibility Audit is required by ¶2533.6 of the UM Book of Discipline. It is to be completed annually as part of the church's Charge Conference forms. You can find the form at this link (click here).

An accessibility audit is a list of items that your congregation can use to evaluate its accessibility. Conducting such an audit does not guarantee compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), building codes, or other legal requirements, but the audit can help you get a program underway and alert you to potential problems.

If you have any questions, contact Berta Hurston, Disability Ministries Coordinator, at bertahurston@gmail.com.
