The Alabama-West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church will hold its 2025 Annual Conference session Sunday, June 8-Tuesday, June 10 at First United Methodist Church in Pensacola, FL. This year’s theme is, "Make Us One" from our communion liturgy.
All sessions of conference will be live streamed. A red banner will be at the top of the conference Website starting Monday morning or click here.
Online Registration is now closed. On-site registration and badge pickup will begin on Sunday, June 8, at 4pm in the Wright Place, Great Hall. Only check and credit cards will be accepted; no cash. Guest seating is available on a first come, first serve basis on the concourse of the Henry Roberts Activity Center during the business sessions. The worship services in the sanctuary are open to all.

An educational video series was published to help you better understand several important parts of annual conference. These videos include a welcome message, how the laity celebration has been reimagined, an update about constitutional amendment voting from two delegates and key points about the 2026 budget. All laity are invited to attend the Laity Celebration and guests are welcome. The event will be on Sunday, June 8th in the Wesley Abbey beginning at 6:00pm. Those attending will be treated to a "Taste of Pensacola" featuring local culinary favorites and learn more about serving as a lay member to conference. Click here for more.
Most meals are on your own at off-site locations of your choice. All persons who registered may enjoy a BBQ lunch on Tuesday. This meal is a fundraiser for the FUMC Pensacola youth mission programs and was included in your registration fee. Click here for local breakfast options.
Dr. David Saliba, senior pastor at FUMC Dothan, serves as the AWF parliamentarian. He offers some invaluable tips on understanding Robert's Rules of Order in this parliamentarian instructional video. Whether you are a seasoned member to annual conference or this is your first year serving, Dr. Saliba's video will help you prepare for conference.
On-site health screenings will not be offered this year. Instead, you may schedule your appointment and visit Labcorp Patient Service Centers for your health screening. You will receive a link and password to create a profile in WellConnect+ Participants. There you will access and print the screening voucher. More here.
Childcare is available for the Service of Ordination and Commissioning. Ushers will be available to direct you to the church nursery.
