The Alabama-West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church will hold its 2024 Annual Conference session Sunday, June 16-Tuesday, June 18 at First United Methodist Church, Montgomery. The conference will not meet on Wednesday, June 19.
This year’s theme is, “Revive Us Again” from Isaiah 43:18-19.
This year's missional offering will go towards new church starts and United Methodist places of worship. An online giving portal will be available soon. We invite you to give generously to this connectional effort.
To see the working agenda, click here. Note that opening worship will begin at 8:30am on Monday, June 17. The clergy and laity sessions will be held in person on Sunday, June 16.
Registration on Sunday, June 16 will be located in two separate places: clergy will register in the fellowship hall area and laity will register in the narthex of the sanctuary. This will enable you to be near your respective session on Sunday evening. If you are not arriving until Monday, all registration will be in the lobby of the fellowship hall.
Due to limited seating, only badged clergy and lay members to annual conference will be permitted in the fellowship hall for business sessions. All are welcome to the worship services in the sanctuary. A live stream will be available for those who wish to view online.

All meals will be off site on your own except the Memorial Service lunch for surviving family members. We encourage you to carpool to and from lunch and dinner to help with traffic flow. Alabama Rural Ministry will host the snack bar in the friendship room (located near the fellowship hall).
Biometric health screenings will be available on Monday only in the "Attic" of Wesley Hall (elevator access available). This screening requires you to fast. It will open at 7:00am and close at 1:00pm. Registration and more details are forthcoming for this service.
Due to ongoing children and adult ministry programs at the church, we will not have exhibit and table space this year. Childcare will only be offered for the Service of Commissioning and Ordination. You may register for childcare for this one service through the main registration link when it is live.
Registration will be launched in the coming weeks. The 2024 Book of Reports will be posted to the conference website when it is available in the spring.
