Friends,
Yesterday the Council of Bishops announced that the called session of General Conference, to be held on May 8, has been cancelled. The Council of Bishops determined that this was in the best interest of the church.
One legislative matter that was slated to be voted upon at the May 8th session was resolved by the Judicial Council.
As I’ve stated before, this is yet another opportunity to focus on mission and ministry. The distractions around us are numerous. Let us continue to find ways to show the world what healing and unity look like.
