Gonzalez United Methodist Church will hold its 5th annual Evening in Bethlehem on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The event will take place on the grounds of the church at 2026 Pauline Street, Cantonment.  The event is free to attend, and refreshments will be provided. 
 
Journey to An Evening in Bethlehem to go back in time to the night Jesus was born.  Immerse yourself in the people, places and experiences that surrounded the birth of Jesus Christ.  This journey will give you the experience of traveling for the census to the town of Bethlehem.  Live animals, and actors playing their parts will round out the setting of what it was like in Bethlehem on that night.  Stroll through the village with your loved ones, and go back in time to share in the joy of the birth of the son of God.  This event is family friendly, and is a great way to kick off the Christmas season.
