From Gershwin to Annie and Andrew Lloyd Weber, a wonderful taste of Broadway is in store at the 11th annual Broadway and More concert Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church (GSUMC).  The concert will begin at 7PM in the sanctuary.  Tickets at $10 per person are on sale at the church office beginning September 15 Mondays through Fridays 9AM to 4PM.  Season concert supporters may use their passes.  All concert proceeds are used to support the music ministry of GSUMC. 

You'll go away humming such memorable numbers from Gershwin's Crazy for You as "Bidin' My Time", Embraceable You" and "KR-A-ZY for You", along with "You're Never  Fully Dressed Without A Smile" and "Tomorrow" from Annie, and from Phantom of the Opera, "Think of Me" and "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" among many other favorites. 

Featured soloists include well-known area musicians Janis Ray, Marsha Guyer, Bill Durmer, Ali Livingston and Cody Johnson, Director of Worship Arts at GSUMC, along with the GSUMC Chancel Choir.  Accompanist for the program is Jackie Dahlman, GSUMC organist/pianist. 

Broadway and More is another great evening of music at GSUMC that will help recall many of your fondest musical memories.
