Gateway to Hope is an event designed to help churches, pastors, chaplains, and other helping professionals best serve and understand the needs of veterans returning from war.  This event will be held September 9 and 10, 2014 at First United Methodist Church,  Montgomery.

A variety of speakers and workshop leaders will be present including the head of Army chaplains.  A dramatic production of "Theater of War" will be offered to the public at large on Tuesday night.  

Partners include Samford University, Baptist Health, the VA, Alavetnet and a number of other groups. 

Costs:

• REGISTRATION and CEU - $150 (CEUs approved for clergy (Brite Divinity School) and pending approval for counselors, social workers and nurses (AUM))
• REGISTRATION ONLY - $125
• VETERANS and SEMINARY STUDENTS - $75
