The Southeastern Jurisdiction United Methodist Association Church Business Administrators 61st Annual Conference will be held August 3 - 5, 2014 at Lake Junaluska, NC.  The topic:  Church Property and Facility Management.
 
Caring for the property entrusted to the church is a multi-faceted ministry, and requires good information, keen insights and wise decision-making. The entire ministry of the congregation benefits from careful management of property and facilities, and furthers the mission of the church.

The Conference Leader will be Robert (Bob) Winstead, D. Min., Director of Lifelong Learning and Assistant Professor of Church Leadership at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. 
 

There are the practical issues of facility management, but there are also the theological issues of facility use.   How can we use our buildings to be in better community with our neighborhood and our neighbors?  How can we use our church buildings and grounds for evangelism?  These and many more questions will be explored during breakout sessions.
