The Conference United Methodist Women (UMW) will have a Spiritual Enrichment retreat March 21 - 23, 2014 at Blue Lake. Check in will begin on Friday, March 21st at 4 p.m. and dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. Registration deadline is March 8, 2014.

Our theme for the retreat is Vessels for the Master’s Use. Bishop Violet L. Fisher will be our retreat leader. She was elected to the Episcopacy in July 2000. Her appointment was to the New York West Area where she served from 2000-2008. She is a sought after revivalist, guest speaker/preacher, lecturer, teacher, conference leader and evangelist. Bishop Fisher has earned two Master’s Degrees – one in Education and the other in Divinity – and a Doctorate in Divinity. In 2006 she was awarded an Honorary Doctoral Degree of Letters from Centenary College and in 2007 she received an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Hood Theological Seminary.
