It’s the Fourth Annual PROJECT 56 Preteen Conference.  The conference will be held at Harvest United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 8, 2012 beginning at 10:00 a.m. for an amazing day of preteen fun and fellowship.  Last year, preteens and leaders from Georgia, Florida, and Alabama came together for the 2011 PROJECT 56. We’re expecting an even bigger event this year.

PROJECT 56 is a six-hour event that includes awesome worship music, relevant teaching, drama, games, small group discussions, lunch, snacks, and more!! The cost is $5/each for preteens, and free for all adult leaders and volunteers.  PROJECT 56 t-shirts are also available for $10 when pre-ordered by September 1.

We are pleased to welcome again Chris Lasseter as our PROJECT 56 speaker. Chris was born and raised in New Brockton, Alabama, graduated from Birmingham-Southern College, and served in Youth Ministry for 15 years. He has been the Youth Pastor at Ashford UMC, Enterprise FUMC, and Covenant UMC in Dothan. In years past, he has served as the Dothan District UMC Youth Coordinator, and on the Board of Directors for Breakthru and Passport Camps.
