The Dothan District will host an ERT (Early Response Teams) Chainsaw Training on Saturday, May 5, 2012 beginning at 8:30 a.m.  The training will be held at Greystone United Methodist Church.  Cost is $7 (payable to Greystone United Methodist Church) which covers materials and lunch.  Participants should dress ready to work.  Class size is limited to 15 persons so register now by calling the church 334.794.6725.  If you have a chainsaw, please bring this with you.

This training is to teach ERT members a consistent and safe method of chainsaw operation. In order to use a chainsaw in a disaster situation, you must have completed the Basic ERT Training and this ERT Chainsaw Training. At the completion of the course, you information will be sent off and you will receive an ERT Chainsaw Certification badge which will be required at all disaster response situations.
