The Dumas Wesley Community Center 22nd Annual Walk for Families is fast approaching!  The walk will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012.  For the first time in 22 years we have some exciting additions as well as the usual events that everyone always enjoys.  Participants who walk are encouraged to collect sponsorships for the 2-mile walk of $25.00 or more for a free t shirt and $100 or more for a free t shirt/hat.  Prizes will be awarded to the first Adult/Child who crosses the finish line first, and most money raised by an individual and group.

Become a Corporate sponsor in categories of $1,000, $500, or $300.  All sponsorships will entitle you to recognition on our banners, posters, t shirts and printed materials.  Please view the printable form below if you are interested in becoming a Corporate sponsor.

First ever BBQ Cook-Off will also be a part of this event.  You can enter your team in either the Professional or Amateur division.  Local Professionals will vie for bragging rights and the first place Amateur division winner will take home $500.00!  Please view the printable registration forms at the Dumas Wesley website www.dumaswesley.org. 

Buy tickets to taste and judge the Amateur BBQ division for $5.00 per person.  Children 6 and under are free.  You can buy your tickets now by calling 251-479-0649 or the day of the event.  Bid on items at our silent auction featuring gift certificates, art work, electronics, collectables, and much more.  Enjoy local musicians and talent, free children activities, and local vendors selling arts and crafts to the public.  Donate items for our silent auction, goodie bags, and door prizes.

All proceeds from the event support the programs at Dumas Wesley Community.
