The Second Biennial Alabama-West Florida Conference Strengthening The Black Church for the 21st Century (SBC21) Convocation will be held August 9-11, 2012 at Capitol Heights United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL.

8:30 AM: registration continues; time of praise; Bible study; coaches with churches; 4 hour ministry tracks; lunch and dinner on-site; 
7 PM: Plenary/WORSHIP

Saturday, August 11, 2012
8:45 AM: opening time of Praise and Bible study
10 AM: Closing plenary/ SENDING FORTH

MINISTRY TRACKS (each participant will register for only one track)

1. Spiritual Formation - new ways the congregation can engage in prayer and spiritual growth ... experiential prayer room ... centering prayer ... labrynth

2. Economic Community Development - How can the church be empowered and equipped to advocate and be in ministry with the community in its economic development

3. Developing and Empowering Small Group Ministries - helping clergy and laity discover how to become a disciple-making community through small groups.

4. Missional Outreach - transforming your church to become externally focused for growing the Kingdom of God.

REGISTRATION:

AFTER JULY 27, 2012: $50.00 for the first five from your church, then $35 per person.
