The United Methodist Men (UMM) will have their Annual Advance on April 20 - 21, 2012.  Rev. Chris Buskirk of Abiding Harvest UMC in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, will be our keynoter. The son of well-known evangelist Jimmy Buskirk and a former associate of Dr. Bill Hinson at the Houston, Texas, FUMC, Chris is a dynamic speaker and leader who will tell us about the organization of Abiding Harvest. The structural center of their ministry is a dozen “home teams” or small groups who meet weekly to worship, study, and minister to each other, the church, and the world.

Chris will talk to us about our own personal walk with Christ and share how his church builds on these individual relationships in their small-group ministry to create a vital congregation. Can you use this in your church’s men’s ministry and in your church’s ministry? Does a bird have wings?
