Bishop James E. Swanson, Sr. is the resident bishop of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. An award-winning preacher, Bishop Swanson oversees the Holston Conference, which includes more than 900 churches in Tennessee, southwestern Virginia and northern Georgia
What can your church do to become more effective in ministry? Come to this seminar at Huntingdon July 22-24, 2010. Top-quality speakers will present plenary sessions and workshops on topics such as worship, evangelism, leadership, hospitality, and more.
Registration begins on Thursday, July 22, at 5:00 pm. The closing worship and sending forth will conclude at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 24. For participants coming from outside of the Montgomery area, lodging will be available on campus at Huntingdon College.
Registration fees:
United Methodist Churches should bring teams of at least 5, including the pastor, to attend this event. Churches who complete the SBC21 profile form and bring a team will pay $40 per team to participate. Churches (any denomination) who do not complete the profile forms will pay $75 per person. Registration fees include meals and lodging at Huntingdon College in Montgomery.
There is a one-time $20 commuter fee for registrants just coming to the seminars. Commuters should also register. The fee includes lunch and dinner on Friday.
