The Wesley Heirs Singers will present a musical program March 9, 2010, at 7:00 PM during our spring retreat at Blue Lake. A generous donation of Cokesbury Hymnals from Cokesbury UMC, arranged by John Bryan, will allow a congregational sing-along. The sing-along will be interspersed with a solo, duet, quartet, and choir numbers.
Come and join in a fun and inspirational time with old favorite gospel songs.

Tuesday, March 10, 2010
10:00 AM - 11:15 AM - Check in with Roy and Jean Sublette, Registrars, at the Registration Table. Find your room, place your name on your door, and settle in. Visit with friends and go to the Chapel.
11:30 a.m. - Presidents Doug and Gaynelle Newton will welcome and make announcements. Secretaries Doug and Nelda Williams will give the minutes of the Fall Gathering. Treasurers Bill and Ann Calhoun will give the Treasurer’s report. Registrars Roy and Jean Sublette will report on the attendees for this gathering. Sunshine report will be given by Betty Blackwell.
12:00 p.m. Lunch
Blessing will be given by Myrt Carr in the Chapel prior to Lunch in the Dining Room.
After we are seated and having lunch, Blue Lake Director Phyllis Murray will give us an update on the progress at Blue Lake.
Announcements from members…President’s recognition of new attendees
After Lunch:
• Table games with Nelda Williams, Ann and Bill Calhoun, Doug and Gaynelle Newton and others in the Game Room.
• Conversation with friends; Snack Table by Jo Mixson and others in TV Room.
3:00-3:45 p.m. - Executive Committee meeting - If the magician is able to attend, the Executive Committee will meet later.
4:00-5:30 p.m. - Wesley Heirs rehearsal with Barbara Hendricks and Judy Hust in the Chapel.
5:30 p.m. - Evening Meal in the Dining Room
- Singing Blessing led by Ed and Jody Cotton
- Birthday Song for those with March birthdays
- Sharing around the tables by Monette Walker
After you have finished your meal, please remove your dishes so the staff can complete their duties as we continue our sharing around the tables in the dining room.
Laugh with Bill Calhoun as we listen to “…And That Is How It Happened!”
Door Prizes
7:00 p.m. - Musical Program in the Chapel with our Wesley Heirs singers. Sing-along interspersed with solos, duets, and quartets. Led by Barbara Hendricks, director, and Judy Hust, accompanist.
Following the concert, conversation and games will continue in the Game Room and TV Room.
9:00 p.m. - An evening devotional in the TV Room

Reminder: Tips may be left in bowls on tables for kitchen staff, and left in room for the cleaning staff.

10:25 a.m. - Memorial Service Celebration in Chapel
11:30 a.m. - Lunch and farewell until Fall Gathering!
