Celebrating New Life: Clergy Family Births

Rev. Ryan and Paige Johnson had a baby boy on Feb 1, 2013.  Baby is named Luke Eden Johnson.  All are well. Ryan serves Bermuda and Owens Chapel in the Baypines District.  

Patty and Scott Kirkpatrick welcomed their granddaughter, Edith Joy, into the world January 18, 2013.  Parents Katie and Chris are doing well. Edith arrived weighed 6 lbs., 8 ozs and was 20 ½ inches.  Patty is the office administrative assistant for the Demopolis District Office.  

Congratulations to Rev. Earl and  Susan Ballard on the birth of their granddaughter, Grace.  Grace was born January 14, 2013, weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long.  The proud parents are Chip and Amy Mayfield.  

Patty and Scott Kirkpatrick welcomed grandson, Thomas Scott Johnson, on December 11, 2012 at 3:18 p.m. Thomss weighed 8lbs and 12 ozs. and was 21 inches. Patty is the office administrative assistant in the Demopolis District Office.  

Rev. Reggie and Bonnie Evans (Fitzpatrick UMC; MTOP District) are the proud grandparents of a new granddaughter, Laykn Olivia Evans.  Parents and baby are doing well.  

Rev. Frederick and Amanda Outlaw are the proud grandparents of Frederick Josiah Outlaw born November 9, 2012.  Frederick and Amanda's son and daughter-in-law, Ahmed and Nyree Outlaw, are the proud parents.   Rev. Outlaw is the Conference Director of Evangelism and Stewardship.  

Dr. Jeremy and Abigail Pridgeon are the proud parents of a new baby girl, Addison Kate Pridgeon.  Addison was born on Friday, October 5, 2012.  She was 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long.  Both mom and baby are doing well. Jeremy is the Pensacola District Superintendent.  

Rev. Elaine and Kevin Brown are the proud parents of Isaiah Aiden Brown.  Isaiah was born on August 6, 2012.  All are doing well.   Elaine the Troy Wesley Foundation Director.  

Rev. Mike and Rene’ McKnight (Fairhope UMC) are grandparents again. Amelia Mae Myers was born on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 3:30p.m. at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. She weighed 6 lb. 3 oz. and was 19” long. Parents are Richie and Amy McKnight Myers of Spanish Fort.  Sisters are Caroline and Callie and the big brother is Gabe. All are doing fine.  

Fitzpatrick UMC is pleased to announce the birth of William Asher Barrett, grandson of Rev. Reggie and Bonnie Evans.  Parents are Amanda and Wes Barrett.  Asher was born at 3:16 pm, June 26, 2012.  He weighed 8lbs 6oz and was 20.5 inches long.  Mom and Asher are doing well.  

Rev. Jonathan and Elizabeth Hart (Shalimar UMC) welcomed their second child, Eden Cynthia, on 5/24/12 at 10:13PM.  Eden was 20" long and weighed 7 lbs 5 oz.  

Revs. Rudy and Starr Olivo (Panama City First) welcomed their new baby boy, Walker, into the world.  Walker was 20 in long and weighed 5 lbs 13 ozs.   

Rev. Bob and Rhoda Sweet (Providence UMC; Baypines District) are proud to announce their newest grandchild, Zoe Lynn Sweet.  Zoe was born on Friday, April 27, 2012.  She arrived at 6:09 p.m. weighing exactly 8 lbs., 21 ¼ inches long.  Parents are Robert B. Sweet, III and Katie Lynn Sweet.    

Charlotte is the first great-granddaughter of Rev. Wilbur Majors (retired).  Charlotte was born April 1, 2012 to parents Kyle and Tiffany Kennedy of Prattville, AL.  

In this season of Thanksgiving, we praise God for the birth of William Fielden Leeland, son of Becki and Paul Andrew Leeland, grandson of Bishop and Mrs. Leeland.  William Fielden was born November 25, 2011, at 11:15 eastern time and is 8 pounds, 12 ounces and 21 inches long.  Mother and baby are doing well!  The Leeland family cherishes your prayers during this joyful time.    

Rev. J. Walker and Lynn Epps welcomed their first grandchild on November 3, 2011.  Their son, Micah, and his wife, Chrissy, gave birth to a baby girl, Evelyn Athena Epps (Evie).  All are doing well.   Rev. Epps (retired) served many churches in the Alabama-West Florida Conference including his appointment as District Superintendent in the Dothan District.      

Congratulations to Rev. John and Sally Sewell on the birth of a grandson, Jerob, September 29, 2011 in Tyler, TX.  Jerob weighed 7 lbs and 13 ozs.  Proud parents are Trey and LeAnn Sewell.  John is the Director, Victorious Christian Living International.    

Congratulations to Rev. Stuart and Jennifer Worth.  Levi Reece Worth was born July 3 at 8 pounds and 19 3/4 inches long.  Stuart is Associate Pastor at Cokesbury United Methodist Church.  

Reverend Dr. Nathan and Nan Elliott's second daughter, Hannah Lee Elliott, was born at 1:34 p.m. June 14.  She's 20 1/2 inches and 9 pounds, 4 ounces.  Nathan is pastor at Gonzalez United Methodist Church.   

Dr. and Mrs. Jeremy Pridgeon are the proud parents of Alexis Kennedy born May 17, 2011.  She arrived at 12:34 am.  Mom (Abigail) and Alexis are doing great!  

Rev. Nathan and Shawna Attwood are the proud parents of Margaret Grace "Maggie Grace" Attwood.  Maggie Grace was born April 29, 2011 at 11:45 am.  She was 6 lb, 1 oz, 19".  Nathan serves as one of the associate pastors at First United Methodist Church, Montgomery.    

Rev. Matt and Mrs. O'Reilly are the proud parents of Vivian Louise O'Reilly, born April 1, 2011.  Rev. O'Reilly serves Jay UMC.

Congratulations to Rev. David and Brittany Morris (Seale/Alexandria) on the birth of their daughter, Sophie.  Sophie weighed 8 lbs 9 ozs. Grandparents are Rev. Dan and Sharmon Morris (Navarre UMC) and great-grandparents are Rev. Rural and Bonnie Morris (retired).    

Rev. Rob and Doris West (DeFuniak Springs UMC) are the proud grandparents of a new grandson.  Noah Barber was born February 28.  Mom and baby are doing wonderful.    

Rev. Francisco and Cecilia Castillo (Pensacola District Hispanic Pastor) are thrilled to announce the birth of their granddaughter, Gianna Elysse Enriquez Castillo, who was born February 23.   Congratulations!    

Revs. Dana and Jake Brady are the proud parents of a new baby, Jedidiah Coy Brady.  Mom and baby are doing fine. Dana is currently serving at Spanish Fort UMC and Jake is currently serving at Marlow UMC.  

George and Melanie Sedberry (Thomasville UMC) are proud to announce the birth of a granddaughter yesterday in Fairhope at Thomas Hospital.  Mother and baby are well and George is proud!!   

Rev. Francisco and Cecilia Castillo (Pensacola District Hispanic Pastor) are thrilled to announce the birth of their grandson, Kaleb Castillo, who was born February 2.    

Mia was born Christmas Eve to Keri and Matthew Poole.  Keri is the daughter of Rev. Steve and Mrs. Tish MacInnis (Millbrook First UMC).   Mia is their first grandchild and she topped the scales at 6 lbs,4 ozs and was 20 inches tall. They are home and doing great.  

Rev. Sean and Jennifer Rezek are the proud parents of a baby girl born September 6th, 2010. She weighed 8lbs 6 ounces. All are both happy and healthy! Sean is currently the pastor at Wesley Chapel in the Dothan District  

Rev. Nolan and Susanna Donald are the proud parents of a new baby boy, Asher Haines Donald.  All are doing well.  Rev. Donald is serving in the TX Conference at Grace Fellowship UMC.    

Congratulations to Rev. Brandon and Kelli Dasinger, Associate Pastor at Crestview First UMC, on the birth of their baby girl, Kenzie Claire Dasinger.  Kenzie was born Thursday, June 10 weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces.  

Congratulations to Rev. J.J. McDaniel and his wife, Eleftheria, (Baker First UMC) on the birth of their second daughter, Lacie Helen McDaniel.  Lacie was born on April 1, 2010.  J. J. is currently the pastor at First United Methodist Church, Baker, FL.    

Mylez Anthony Gourdine was born on the March 29, 2010.  His parents are Rev. Paul and Mecco Gourdine.  Mylez weighed 9 lbs 5 oz and was 19" long.  Paul is currently the pastor at Dexter Avenue United Methodist Church.  

Elizabeth Grace Elliott was born on January 7, 2010. Her parents are Rev. Dr. Nathan and Nan W. Elliott. Nathan is currently the pastor at Gonzalez United Methodist Church.  

Ella Louise Couch was born December 7, 2009.  Her parents are Rev. Rob and Crystal Couch.  Rob is currently the pastor at Saraland United Methodist Church.

Patrick James O'Reilly was born March 19, 2009; Weight: 9 lbs. 5 oz..  His parents are Rev. Matt and Naomi O'Reilly.  Matt is currently the pastor at Jay United Methodist Church.
